As President and CEO, Markham oversees all business units of Command Investigations. Markham leads the company in a time of growth, through strategic planning and implementation, internal collaboration and efficiency, and development of new partnerships, while continuing Command’s long-established history of excellence in customer service and satisfaction. Markham believes in meaningful employment experiences, where a culture of community, collaboration and innovation is developed and fostered.
Markham's prior role was Chief Revenue Officer at Command and Division President of the Command subsidiary Discovery Investigations before that. With roots in New Mexico and Texas, he has 25 years of experience in risk management and in the insurance defense investigative industry. From his early success as a “National Investigator of the Year," to founding Candid Investigation Services and later Discovery Investigations, to his current position, Markham has developed a unique knowledge of the insurance services and investigations industry.
Markham is a certified continuing education instructor and has taught numerous courses to the workers’ compensation and insurance claims community.
A private pilot and avid outdoorsman, Markham enjoys spending time in the mountains and wide-open spaces of the Southwest with his family and friends.
Jason Chofooklun has held numerous positions at Command Investigations, starting as a part time surveillance investigator then moving on to become an SIU Investigator, Operations Manager, Regional Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations and now Chief Operating Officer. Jason oversees the execution of all operating functions within Command, to include acquisition integration, organic growth strategy, and corporate compliance, along with developing our Human Resources, Information Technology, and Finance departments. He does this while keeping the culture and the premier service Command has come to be known for at the forefront. Command’s core values of Service, Results, and Integrity are key pillars which drive his daily decisions.
Before joining Command, Jason strengthened his leadership skills while working as the Director of Operations for a global spice importer and manufacturing company in Miami. This experience sharpened his ability to solve complex international problems, along with developing better automation and internal processes, which lead to company growth. Prior to entering the food manufacturing arena, Jason graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, while working in the hospitality industry.
Jason spent over six years in the safety and security field working for a large privately held hotel chain in the Orlando area. During this time, Jason moved up quickly and held the position of Assistant Director of Security before moving into the Risk Management side of the company on the Safety team. This large employer level experience has proven to be vital while working alongside Command’s clients to reduce the impacts of fraudulent claims nationwide.
Prior to this, Jason served over four years in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 2003. He completed boot camp at the top of his class and was meritoriously promoted twice, reaching the rank of Sergeant within two years. Jason has deployed to Greece, Africa, Kosovo and Iraq among others during his service, as he learned the leadership skills he utilizes on a daily basis.
Along with overseeing the high-level operations of Command and the long-term operational strategy, Jason mentors emerging adults and speaks routinely to high school and college students, when he is not coaching basketball at the local civic center in his community. This level of commitment to others gained him the Veterans Of Influence Award in 2017 presented by the Orlando Business Journal. Jason currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife, three children and two dogs.
Rich Perri, one of our Founders, has worked in the private investigative industry for over 28 years.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Pittsburgh, Perri decided to pursue a career as a private investigator.
Perri co-founded Command Investigations, LLC in 2012. At Command Investigations, Perri held titles of Vice President and President.
Prior to Command, Perri helped facilitate the opening of RSight Investigations, Inc. He served multiple roles throughout his tenure, including Investigator Trainer, Senior Investigator, Field Supervisor, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Sales Executive, Senior Sales Executive and Vice President of Sales/Marketing.
Perri began his career at a national investigative company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked as an investigator for five years, where he conducted investigative assignments throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. As Lead Investigator, Perri trained and mentored investigators in his tenure.
Steve Cassell is one of our Founders and Senior Strategic Advisor. He founded Command Investigations in 2012 and has more than 29 years of successful work in the investigative and insurance claims communities.
He holds his private investigator license in 10 states and is an accredited continuing education instructor in more than five states.
Cassell was the first private investigator elected to the Florida Workers’ Compensation Fraud Task Force Board. The Board provides critical industry data, legislative recommendations and insight to the Florida Legislature.
In addition to Command, Cassell founded the National Investigative Training Academy, Inc. (NITA).
NITA offers students the convenience of achieving their investigative and security training goals through their comprehensive online platform that includes the required training needed to begin and maintain their professional careers.
Before founding Command, Cassell owned RSight Investigations (RSight), which employed hundreds of investigators and staff.
RSight and Command were both recapitalized to support strategic expansion and service offerings to large, self-insured employers, insurance carriers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and the legal defense community.
A graduate of Temple University, Cassell is married with two children.
King has worked in the investigative field for over 30 years and serves as our Executive Vice President - Client Relations.
In this role, he fosters the strong relationships he has built over the years while also developing new partnerships nationwide.
King began his career in the private investigation field and worked his way up to Vice President/Director of Operations for one of the largest Pittsburgh-based investigation companies. He then ventured into the law enforcement field, where he was a Deputy Sheriff in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Chuck was also the Chief deputy Coroner for Westmoreland County, PA. His role was to investigate and establish the cause and manner of death on individuals throughout the county. He worked on investigations with Dr. Cyril Wecht, Dr. Jennifer Hammers and various local and state law enforcement agencies during his tenure.
In 1996, King began his own private investigation firm and built an impressive record providing best-in-class investigative services to nationally recognized employers and carriers. His claim resolution strategies have been requested by numerous law firms and carriers, and he works closely with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies on fraudulent claims.
King has been a featured guest speaker at numerous workers’ compensation industry events and has testified in over 100 workers’ compensation cases. He has also conducted investigations all over the world, including Peru, China, London and France.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and has completed the Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation, as well as several U.S. Department of Justice, state and county training programs.
King is a member of the Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Association as well as an instructor and third-degree black belt in martial arts.
Martinez possesses over 32 years of experience in the investigative field and serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development.
In this role, he oversees the development and maintenance of local accounts in the Central and Southwest regions of the United States, as well as national accounts.
Martinez began his investigative career in the field as a manager/investigator and rapidly moved into a sales role.
Later, Martinez joined a firm out of New Mexico where he held the role of Owner/Regional Sales Representative and built an impressive book of business of insurance carriers, TPA’s and employers. That company was ultimately sold to a large, national firm, where Martinez served as Regional Sales Director.
Martinez’s career culminated in the formation of Discovery Surveillance, now part of the Command family of brands. He continues to foster the strong relationships he has built over the years while also, developing new partnerships nationwide.
Martinez served in the United States Marnie Corps for eight years as a Sergeant and as a reserve police officer with the Magnolia Police Department in Texas for three years. He also graduated from the University of Houston Police Academy.
Ms. Gott has spent the last 36 years growing her expertise & knowledge of the Investigative & Security Industries. Toni has been part of several cutting-edge teams who designed and put forth some of the industry’s leading technology that is currently utilized within today’s Fraud and Work Comp arena. Throughout her career Toni has spent time within the following areas: Fraud Detection, Risk Management, Loss Control, Loss Prevention, Work Comp, Human Resources, Compliance, Sales & Marketing, Safety & Security, Vendor Management, SIU Management, State Fraud Filings, Subrogation, CCTV Monitoring, Claims Adjusting, as well as Executive Management.
Toni and her wife, Amy, are proud parents of identical twin boys and enjoy spending their free time exploring the Disney and Universal Theme Parks as often as possible. Toni is a big believer in giving back to the community & dedicates time to several charities including: Come Out With Pride, Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation and The Pride Chamber.
Larry Dodd has worked in the private investigative and law-enforcement fields for over 31 years.
He currently holds the position of Vice President of Client Relations at Command Investigations.
His duties include account management, maintaining strong relationships he has built over the years while also developing new partnerships nationwide.
He began working in the private investigative field for RSight Investigations, Inc. He worked his way up through the ranks and ultimately became the SIU Manager.
He started his career with the Somers Point Police Department in New Jersey, where he was a patrol officer for two years before being promoted to the detective bureau
Richard is the Executive Vice President of Command Investigations, LLC, DBA-Specialized Investigations, which is a national private investigation company with over 400 employees. He brings over 40 years of experience as an investigator/manager and has worked in management for over 30 years. Richard manages the daily operations of the business, along with business development and client retention.
Richard has spoken at many international, national, and local association conferences and events, as well as training many Investigators and Insurance industry SIU and Claims personnel.

Jim Anderson, Executive V.P., was a Founding Partner and President of Infoquest Information Services, Ltd., est.1994, prior to joining Command in 2023. Infoquest is a full-service insurance defense and business information services firm. Under Jim’s leadership, Infoquest realized annual growth and success through a customer-first approach, substantial staff of professional investigators, forward-thinking programs, state-of-the-art technology, and outstanding client loyalty. Jim was involved in all aspects of the business with primary emphasis on Quality Assurance and Client Relations. Formerly, Jim was a Claim Director and Account Executive with Equifax, Atlanta, GA. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a frequent speaker at industry events.
Starting his career in the late 1980s, Paul Seguin dedicated eight years to serving his country, first as Army Military Police in traffic enforcement, and later as part of the elite Army CID Drug Suppression team. After his distinguished military service and while completing his education, Paul honed his skills at several investigative companies and corporations, focusing on internal and external theft and loss control.
Recognizing a critical gap in the market for a technology-driven, customer-focused investigative firm, Paul founded Abacus Research in 1994. With an unwavering commitment to quality and a customer-first approach, he built Abacus from the ground up. Over the past 30 years, with the support of a top-notch team of dedicated professionals, Paul has transformed Abacus into a powerhouse in the investigative industry. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, he possesses a keen understanding of customer needs and excels at finding tailored solutions for their specific situations.
As Vice President of Business Development, Marci Reading leverages over 17 years of experience in insurance and investigations to drive growth through new and existing client relationships, roll out of innovative new services and execution of strategic marketing plans.
Marci became certified as a Fraud Examiner by the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2022.
She is also a Licensed CEU Instructor with the Florida Department of Finance. She presents state accredited continuing education for Command.
Marci is an active membership of several industry organizations, including the Women’s Alliance in Workers Compensation, ACFE, CLM and NEFLRIMS.
Maez has been in the private investigative field for over 20 years and serves as the Director of Operations of Command Investigations and all business units within the Command family of brands.
In this role, he is responsible for the oversight of daily operations across the United States, as well as national vendor services.
Maez began his investigative career in the field as a surveillance, field, and SIU investigator. He consistently ranked as a top investigator and received many accolades for his outstanding performance.
Maez conducted thousands of investigations across the country and quickly moved into a management role for a large national firm, overseeing the daily operations of multiple states and teams of investigators.
Later, Maez joined Discovery Surveillance, now part of the Command family of brands. He continues to manage, train, and develop a strong Operations Management team to provide best-in-class service to local, regional and national clients.
Maez holds a private investigator license in both New Mexico and Texas.
He studied Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice at T.V.I. in New Mexico and has completed numerous courses in private investigation skills and techniques, as well as leadership training.
An avid snowboarder, Maez enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado and is a coach for a local snowboard team.
Mr. Werkheiser has over 34 years of experience in Insurance Claims handling and SIU investigations in multiple lines of insurance as a Claims Representative, Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Investigator, SIU Supervisor, SIU General Adjuster and SIU Manager. He is responsible for all non-surveillance field investigation functions and SIU Compliance for the Command enterprise.
He also serves as the contract Director of Special Investigations for multiple insurance carrier and TPA clients and consults on the SIU functions for several other carriers in the US and Canada.
He has extensive claims/SIU and SIU compliance experience in the alternative risk market including captives, RRG’s, self-insureds and MGA/fronting company programs. He has handled or supervised claim and SIU investigations in multiple lines of insurance in over 40 states in the US and 4 Canadian Provinces.
He has provided SIU training to multiple organizations across the US. He was the founding member of the NM Chapter of IASIU and served on the Board of Directors of chapters based in PA, CO, NM and AZ. He is a member of IASIU, the Anti-Fraud Alliance, CLM and the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators. Beginning in 2024, he will serve as Command’s representative at the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud.
Mr. Werkheiser served as a Police Officer in PA and as a Firefighter, Firefighter/EMT and Rescue Squad crew chief in fire/rescue departments in PA, NJ and WI. He is a 48 year member of the National Ski Patrol and is currently an Alpine Patroller at Big Bear Mountain Resort in Big Bear Lake, CA.
In 1994, Ken Gorczyca became one of the founding partners of Infoquest Information Services, initially still conducting surveillance and field investigations, but quickly moving solely into a managerial role and overseeing the northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania regions of Infoquest. As growth continued, Gorczyca moved into a number of other roles that were required in managing and running a multi-state business.
Prior to that, in 1991, Gorczyca became a private investigator, conducting surveillance investigations, in addition to many other types of field investigations. He eventually helped build, train, and supervise a team of investigators.
In 2023, after the Infoquest acquisition, Gorczyca became Command Investigations Quality Assurance Director. He uses his experience of over thirty years gained in the field as a manager and business owner to continue to improve processes in all aspects of operations in the field investigations.
In 1986, Gorczyca enlisted in the Air Force and spent four years learning, and then repairing avionics systems on aircraft that included radio, navigation, and instrumentation.

Molly Grace has over 23 years experience working in the investigative field.
As the Executive Finance Manager, Grace manages the finance team which includes daily financial operations, invoicing, account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial compliance.
Prior to her work with Command, Grace was a member of the RSight Investigations team. She was part of more than a thousand investigations and oversaw investigative results, compliance and client reporting.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Niagara University.
As our Case Intake & Quality Assurance Manager, Jorel Reyes oversees the administrative team that supports our investigative operations through case intake, data entry, and building investigation reports. Reyes also works closely with other department heads to promote efficient workflows, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
Prior to his position as a manager, Jorel started as a Quality Assurance Specialist building investigative reports, and shortly after became the Data Entry Team Lead. Before joining the Command team, Reyes worked in both retail and the housekeeping industry, in which he held the titles of Compliance Supervisor, Team Lead, and Trainer
As Marketing Manager, Delaney oversees all marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and video initiatives for Command Investigations. She provides sales support, analyzes effectiveness of current marketing strategies, manages social media content, and creatively works to establish new ways to expand and grow the company reach in order to generate leads.
Delaney graduated with an MBA from the University of New Mexico in 2021. During her free time, she enjoys serving the youth at her local church.
Leading the charge as Command's IT Manager, Otto Cruz drives the integration of cutting-edge technological solutions, fostering business intelligence that seamlessly aligns with the company's strategic objectives. With an MBA in Organizational Management, a degree in Psychology, and a robust foundation in IT, Otto has played a pivotal role in fortifying the organization's fundamental systems. Over his decade-long tenure at Command Investigations, he has showcased a remarkable aptitude for not only securing a competitive edge for the company but also enhancing the overall customer experience.
At the forefront of his responsibilities, Otto demonstrates an unwavering commitment to data security and privacy, spearheading the development and implementation of IT best practices throughout the organization. As Command's Controller, Vilece plans, directs and coordinates all accounting operational functions from our Corporate Headquarters in Lake Mary, FL.
Vilece brings over 30 years of experience in analytical and management skills to the Command team. Prior to joining Command, Vilece held the role of Manager, Worldwide Financial Reporting, for a global consumer products company where she was instrumental in the management and SEC reporting. She began her career as a financial statement auditor for Price Waterhouse in Orlando.
Vilece holds a Master of Accounting degree and is a Certified Public Accountant.
