California Department of Insurance Approves Command’s SIU Training Program

December 5, 2018. The California Department of Insurance (CDI), SIU Compliance Review Program has formally approved Command Investigations as a qualified SIU Training Program administrator.

Under California Code, licensed insurers must establish and maintain a Special Investigative Unit to identify and refer suspected insurance fraud to the CDI.

This approval allows Command to offer compliance training in-house and online for both new-hire orientation training (CCR 2698.39 (c)(1)) and annual integral training (CCR 2698.39 (c)(2)).

As our SIU & anti-fraud program continues to expand in the California market, we are pleased to offer this service to licensed insureds in California. Both training options exceed the SIU requirements set forth in the California Code of Regulations.
