October 2, 2013. – Jose Munoz was Convicted on three (3) felony charges of Workers’ Compensation Fraud. The charges include violating F.S. 440.105(4)(B)2 – Workers’ Compensation Fraud, F.S. 440.105(4)(B)(9) – Use of False ID for a Workers’ Compensation Claim and F.S. 817.568(2) – Fraudulent Use of Personal Identification Information. An enforceable restitution order in the amount of $107,876.00 was ordered against Munoz.
This conviction is the culmination of an initial SIU investigation conducted by Command Investigations which resulted in Munoz’s arrest on September 24, 2013.
