Final Disposition for Mileage Fraud (Dominic Murray)

SUNZ-Dominic-Murray-booking-photo5582fdba7baa8.jpgDecember 22, 2015. Command Investigations, SUNZ Insurance and North American Risk Services (NARS) announce the final disposition for Dominic Murray for mileage fraud.

Murray was ordered to complete community service, and he completed all of his community service time.

A referral was submitted to Florida’s Division of Insurance Fraud (DIF) as statutorily required based on material misrepresentation determined by the evidence collected during Command’s investigation. The evidence was submitted in conjunction with Murray’s submission of false information on mileage reimbursement forms, reporting having traveled a higher amount of mileage to his medical appointments to receive additional money in support of his workers’ compensation claim. The mileage submitted was determined over reported based on Command’s investigation.

Subsequently, DIF issued an arrest warrant, and on June 10, 2015, in Gadsden County, Florida, Dominic Murray was arrested for workers’ compensation fraud, violating F.S. 440.105 (4)(a) 2: Workers’ Compensation Fraud.

Ultimately, Murray was convicted of the charge.
