July 27, 2015. Command Investigations, SUNZ Insurance and North American Risk Services (NARS) announce the conviction of Juvenal Dominguez for insurance fraud.
Juvenal Dominguez was convicted of insurance fraud on July 20, 2015 and ordered to pay enforceable restitution in the amount of $18,984.51. Dominguez was sentenced to four years of probation.
A referral was submitted to Florida’s Division of Insurance Fraud (DIF) as statutorily required based on the evidence collected during Command’s SSN Verification Program™. The evidence was submitted in conjunction with Dominguez’s utilization of a false Social Security Number issued to a deceased individual from Arizona to gain employment and secure workers’ compensation benefits.
Subsequently, DIF issued an arrest warrant, and on January 9, 2015, Juvenal Dominguez was arrested in Martin County, Florida, for insurance fraud on two counts of F.S. 440.105.4b9 – FRAUD USE FALSE ID FOR WORKERS COMP CLAIM-LESS THAN $20K.
Ultimately, Dominguez was convicted for both charges.
As part of Command’s Restitution Management Program™, close contact was maintained with the State Attorney’s Office to ensure that all victims’ rights are asserted, aggressively protected and maintained. This included the clear presentation of all supporting evidence to best support an enforceable restitution request in the amount of $18,984.51.
