September 18, 2017. On Wednesday, September 6, Command participated in a panel that covered “Advanced Claim Strategies using Social Media” at the California Workers’ Compensation & Risk Conference in Dana Point, California.
The panel consisted of Steve Cassell, President and CEO of Command Investigations, Andy Olwert, President of Next Level Administrators, and Beth Savelli, Risk Manager for Swissport USA.
With about 80 percent of 18-49 year-old individuals engaged in social media, the importance of social media investigations is exponentially rising. The panel discussed how utilizing social media investigations helps to ensure positive claim and investigative outcomes.
Attendees learned how to select social media investigative methods to use at their organization, enterprise strategies on how to engage social media investigations in an effective claim handling, and essential privacy issues, case laws and rules when using social media investigations.
