April 27, 2017. On Tuesday, April 25h, Command Investigations and Johns Eastern Company co-presented “Impacting Claims Using Advanced Social Media Strategies” to risk management professional from throughout Georgia at the Georgia Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) 2017 Educational Series.
The session focused on why members of the insurance claims community should routinely utilize social media investigations to help understand the specific activities of their claimants. In today’s world, social media investigations cannot be ignored, as approximately 80% of 18 to 59 year-old individuals are engaged in social media.
Command and Johns Eastern then explained how an enterprise level social media investigative platform can positively impact claims and investigative outcomes, and how these investigations ultimately increase return on investigative investment.
The effects of an enterprise level approach on Allocated Loss Adjustment Expense (ALE) and ROI from a TPA/Carrier’s perspective were also thoroughly covered.
